Our Story

We didn’t set out to start a brand.

We just wanted to make cleaner choices.

But the more we looked into the products we used every day, the more we realised how difficult that actually was.

Even the products marketed as “eco-friendly” weren’t always as clean as they looked. Bamboo toothbrushes still had plastic bristles. Natural products still had synthetic materials. Labels were confusing, vague, and often designed to sound better than they really were.

That’s where The Organic Standard began.

We started with one of the simplest daily products: the toothbrush.

Something used twice a day, directly in your mouth — yet almost always made with nylon bristles.

So we created a better version.

A truly plastic-free toothbrush made with natural horse or boar hair bristles and a bamboo handle. No nylon. No bioplastic bristles. No fake eco shortcuts.

Our mission is simple: make cleaner everyday swaps easier to understand, easier to trust, and easier to use.

Because healthier living shouldn’t feel overwhelming.

You shouldn’t need to spend hours researching ingredients, materials, and hidden plastics just to find one product that makes sense.
